Webwise is the Irish Internet Safety Awareness Centrewhich is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and the EU Safer Internet Programme. Webwise is an internet safety initiative focused on raising awareness of online safety issues and good practice among students, their parents and teachers. The Irish Computer Society’s Get Ireland Onlineinitiative aims to provide parents with basic internet security skills that will help them to protect their children against, amongst other things, viewing unsuitable content and cyber bullying.
